One of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the United States appointed a new CEO and several members of the senior leadership team in the midst of a pandemic. The goal was to align and engage the leadership around a changing healthcare environment and create a vision for the
post-pandemic future that addressed values, culture, strategy, processes, and systems in order to be a global leader in the healthcare space.
Bravanti facilitated sessions with the CEO and an extended executive leadership team to optimize team skills to ensure that leadership was highly cohesive and productive. This included:
- Exploratory interviews, surveys, and assessments of the entire senior leadership team to identify issues and opportunities prior to any on-site activities
- Facilitated four team effectiveness coaching sessions with the CEO and senior leadership targeting fundamental behaviors and practices required of high-performing teams
- Each member of the senior leadership team chose a coach from our international cadre of executive coaches for a six-month coaching engagement in order to fully develop each individual’s leadership skills. This included communication style assessments, behavioral assessments, and key stakeholder feedback interviews for each member of the senior leadership team.
- Continuous discussions with the executive sponsors to monitor progress on the team’s goals and allowing Bravanti to tailor the program as needed during the course of the assignment.
- Follow-up assessments to quantify progress the team made during the course of the engagement
- Ongoing spot coaching to the team and senior leaders
- The senior leadership team evolved, developing a strong foundation of the interpersonal skills necessary to be a highly cohesive and productive team and a global leader in the healthcare space
- Individual team members received one-on-one executive coaching to maximize their personal effectiveness and professional potential, along with enhancing the skills necessary to coach and mentor their direct reports
- The CEO, board of trustees and senior leadership team aligned on a vision and strategy to lead the 16 Executive Coaches organization into the future
