Mary Herrmann is Managing Director and Global Practice Leader for Executive Coaching at ZRG Bravanti, where she advises CEOs, executive teams, boards of directors, and private equity-backed leadership teams navigating growth, transformation, succession, and performance acceleration.
Recognized for her direct, business-focused approach, Mary helps leaders align strategy, talent, and execution to drive stronger organizational performance and enterprise value. She is a trusted advisor to CEOs operating in complex, high-stakes environments, helping leadership teams improve decision-making, strengthen accountability, and lead through periods of significant change.
Mary leads a global network of more than 200 executive coaches and partners closely with organizations to ensure leadership development initiatives are aligned with business objectives, culture, and measurable outcomes. Her work focuses on enabling executives and leadership teams to perform at their highest levels while supporting the strategic priorities of shareholders, boards, and stakeholders.
Over the course of her career, Mary has advised more than 150 CEOs, their boards, and executive leadership teams across a broad range of industries. She has extensive experience supporting leaders through organizational transformation, rapid growth, CEO transitions, mergers and acquisitions, culture evolution, and changing market dynamics. Her clients include startups, middle-market, Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and private equity-backed companies.
Prior to joining ZRG, Mary founded Executive & Professional Coaching, a firm that was acquired by Capital H Group in 2004. Following the acquisition, she served as Principal and led the development of the firm’s executive coaching practice. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in human resources across multiple industries, including professional services, insurance, and advertising, providing her with a broad understanding of the organizational and talent challenges facing business leaders.
Mary holds an M.S. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. from Northern Illinois University. She is a graduate of Corporate Coach University and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Beyond her professional work, Mary has served for more than fifteen years as a Commissioner on the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for the Village of Hinsdale. She is also a former board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
