CHICAGO (April 4, 2016) — BPI group, a global management and human resources consulting firm, has appointed Michael McGowan to head up its leadership and talent practice in North America. In this new role, Michael will lead a team that focuses on helping clients achieve business strategy results through talent management solutions – from talent strategy to leadership and high potential development, succession planning, performance management, and engagement.

Michael specializes in working with companies experiencing significant changes in leadership, strategy, or organization — including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and culture change. He works with companies across all industries, with significant experience in the professional services, technology, telecommunications, and consumer products sectors. Prior to joining BPI group, he held leadership positions at Korn Ferry and Deloitte Consulting.
McGowan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He lives in Chicago with his wife and son.
